Last days of Napoleon
Exhibition Napoléon à Sainte-Hélène, the Memory’s Conquer
Musée de l’Ármée, Paris, 2016
A modern visual language, while keeping the museum’s classic spirit
This temporary exhibition housed in the extraordinary Invalides in Paris, was one more of many events around the centenary of Napoleon’s death. In other to attract a wider public than usual, the emotional side of Napoleon’s fate while exiled was emphasised, using a conceptual visual language. To achieve a consistent outcome, the same pattern was used in many ways and supports, which proved to be a successful reminder for the viewers all across the city, and attracted many visitors to the exhibition.
